Due to the University conducting deteriation testing, all systems will be shutting down shortly ie between 1730 - 1830. We've had as little warning as you. Systems should be back before tomorrow 1200. |

GeekSoc System Notice: Systems At Risk 02/25 - 02/26 It is believed that within the rest of this week that we may be required to move the servers to a more suitable power environment. Notice will be short, therefore systems should be considered at risk of not being there when you want them. |

GSN : Shell/Sol Stability |

Please be aware a network change has resulted in some instability in the box known as Shell/Sol (shell.geeksoc.org). Other services are not affected at this time. We are looking into the problem, and hope to have it rectified by tomorrow evening. |

GeekSoc's downtime over the last four days (1840 Sun 25th - 1400 Wed 28th) was an unfortunate network failure outside our control. A switch on the university network failed, and ITS have worked quickly to restore net access to us. We would like thank ITS for their work. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused |
