Glasgow Uni Media Week is this week. This includes talks from various people in the media industry, one of the speakers was Tommy Ga-Ken Wan.
Some pictures from the weekend first though:

Suraya and Allison were playing Donkey Kong on the Wii all night!

He’s judging you from the page!

Today there was a lot of fog all day. I decided to not be lazy and take a walk to get some creepy pictures.

Lots of things happened over two days, and even more pictures were taken.

The new issue of the Imperfectionists ‘zine.

People watching in the Steak and Cherry on Sauchiehall St.

The man looking at the camera creeps me out, he looks even creepier zoomed in.

Helen does a good job of looking evil.

First time I’ve used the creamtone preset in LR and LIKED it!

Commotion.

The Cave (or it’s other name: Mmm, Wine).

Pirates vs. Ninjas

Mmm, delicious looking food.

At the GFT

On the subway.

Sean looking happy about Mean Girls being show at the GFT.

You can’t get more hipster than this. I swear it was ironic.

Making Enchiladas.

Reading a dictionary.

Just to bookend the post.
At first this post was supposed to be some of the weirder/more obscure pictures from a Hogmanay party but then I though I probably have others from various other events that I didn’t post. And so, I went trolling though my LR catalogue for some of the stuff I might not have uploaded for whatever reason.

John’s leaving night.

In Tinderbox.

A GUPS Meeting.

Fail on my part in taking a decent shot of this…

Unsure when these were taken.

Fresher’s Week.

At the lake district, on a family holiday.
I went to visit my parents and various other family members over Christmas.
This was also an opportunity to really test out my new lens. Verdict: too awesome for words.

Photographs of me ranging from about 6 years old to present day. Can you tell I’m an only child…?

Parents acting like children.

Obligartory mirror self shots. Last one was a reflection in the window, Ghostlike!

Next door neighbours dog.

Teatime.

Making russian pancakes.

Mum is always talking on the phone…

Ardrossan Harbour on Christmas Day.

Party on!

David(on the left) – linguist, professor and generally one of the most interesting people ever.

Frustrating technology.

Boxing Day dinner.

Me trying out my present from my cousin.

Making baby faces.

Leaving.
GUPS took a wander around the center of Glasgow and the Winter Festival that is happening at the moment.

20mm + curved counter = win!

20mm deforsting after walking into a warm pub makes for dreamy pictures. Perfect for you and that awesome fisheye lens!
